Bread Pudding


1/2 c. sugar
1/4 t. nutmeg
2 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
4 c. 1/2-inch slightly dry bread or cake cubes
1/4 c. raisins

Combine sugar, nutmeg and milk to eggs; beat well. Place breadcubes into a buttered crockpot and pour egg mixture over bread. Allow to stand until bread is thoroughly soaked. Mix in raisin.

Cover and cook on HIGH 2 to 3 hours.
