Breakfast Casserole

6 slices of multi-grain bread, cubed
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 pound sharp, cheddar cheese, grated
1 pound hot sausage or 1/2 pound mild, 1/2 pound hot sausage if you don’t like it to hot
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Preheat oven to 350*F

Lightly butter a two quart casserole dish. cover bottom with the cubed bread. Sauté sausage in skillet. Drain, put sausage over bread cubes. Mix thoroughly eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Pour over sausage and top with grated cheese. Bake one hour or until done.
