Butter Brickle Bread
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box yellow or butter cake mix
1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
4 large eggs
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 teas. butter flavoring ( I used I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray)
1 cup butter brickle chips (Heath)
Spray 2 (9 x 5) bread loaf pans with cooking spray
Put pecans on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes until lightly toasted. Set aside to cool.
Beat cake mix and next 5 ingredients on medium speed for 5 minutes. Stir in brickle chips. Blend well
Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the two greased bread pans and then pour cake batter over them. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Test with a tooth pick in the middle. If it comes out clean bread is done. Let cool 10 minutes before removing to a rack to cool, otherwise bread will crumble.
