Cheddar Potato Slices

1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 medium baking potatoes (about 1 1/4 lbs.)
cut into 1/4 inch slices (about 4 cups)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)

In small bowl, combine soup, paprika and pepper. In a greased 2-quart oblong baking dish, arrange potatoes in overlapping rows. Sprinkle with cheese; spoon soup mixture over cheese. Cover; bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes or until potatoes are fork-tender. Makes 6 servings.

I will have to try this. My Mother used to make a dish kind of like this. She would slice potatoes thinly, and onion very thin and layer, potato, onion and cream of mushroom soup.
