Cherry Bar Cake

Cherry Bar Cake 1 pkg fudge cake mix 1 tsp. almond extract 1 can cherry pie filling 2 eggs beaten directions: mix by hand and pour into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. topping: boil together 1 c sugar, 5 Tblsp. butter and 1/3 c milk… remove from heat and stir in 1 pkg ( 16 oz) choc. chips. stir until melted and pour over warm cake . let cool completely and slice and serve, very rich cake… wonderful served with vanilla ice cream on side:D
