Cherry Eggnog Quick Bread

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/4 cups prepared dairy eggnog
6 Tbsp butter, melted and cooled
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped candied red cherries

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease three 5 1/2 x 3 inch mini loaf pans.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir eggnog, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla in medium bowl until well blended. Add eggnog mixture to flour mixture. Mix just until all ingredients are moistened. Stir in pecans and cherries. Spoon into prepared pans.

Bake 35 to 40 min or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 15 min. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire rack. Store tightly wrapped in plastic wrap at room temp.
