I am looking for some help finding a recipe. When I was small my mother made a dish where she would cook some egg noodles, pour a can or cherry pie filling over the top. Then she would bake it and it was great. There is a possibility that we put whipped cream over the top when we ate it. I don’t remember for sure, it’s been almost 50 years.
My mother is getting up there in years, but she seems to remember putting cream in the mixture too. I believe this recipe is German.
I would love to make this for my grandchildren.
If anyone could please steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much.
