Chicken Nachatta

HI I am a newbie and am desperate for a recipe. I had at GI Maxwells in Marysville and am unable to locate it anywhere. They called it Chicken Nachatta. I know it had mushrooms, sundried cranberries, obviously chicken and a very sweet sauce. Can anybody help me with this!!! Thanks so much

Hi,

I have just joined and see that you posted this request 4+ years ago but I know how to make this recipe. I had it at Maxwell’s and asked them for the recipe. They gave the ingrediaents to me but not the quantity because it will vary depending on how many breasts you are cooking. So, here is what I do:

Brown skinned and deboned chix breast in a little olive oil. When cooked through [don’t cook to rdry out], remove from pan and sautee some diced onion and sliced mushrooms. When sauteed to your liking, add some brown sugar to the pan to carmelize [for 2 1/2 full breasts I use about 3 heaping tablespoons] then deglaze with Brandy. Reduce with a heavy cream and then add the dried cranberries. Stir and return the chix to the pan. I then put it all in the oven for about 15-20 mins. at 250 degrees. Just enough to reheat the chix and coat with the sauce. It turns out just as good as theirs but I really don’t measure anything I just cook to taste and texture and consistency. Good luck and I hope this helps. Late is better than not at all and at least you will now have it if you want it.
