Chicken Pasta Bake

I am a teacher and love easy things to make in the evening after coming home from school. I made this for dinner tonight and there was none left over. Even my pickiest kid (who eats no type of sauces at all) ate it and had seconds.
1 pound chopped, cooked chicken (or turkey)
4 cups uncooked pasta shells (the small ones)
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted (I use the reduced fat kind)
2 cups milk
pepper to taste
Combine chicken, pasta, 2 cups cheese, soup and milk. Pour into greased dish. Bake covered at 350 for an hour. Uncover, sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and cook for 5-10 more minutes until cheese is melted. This serves 6 but 5 of us ate it all! :lol:
I served this with a green salad and french bread.
