Chipolate Burgers

1 1/2 lb. ground chuck 1 tab. steak seasoning 3 tsp. chipolate peppers in adobe sauce
Put peppers and sauce in food processer and chop fine. Add with steak seasonings to ground chuck. Form into 4 patties and grill to desired doneness. If desired right before they come off the grill top with your favorite cheese. I topped mine with pepper jack , hubby used cheddar.
Served on grilled bun with all the toppings, a melon medley and baked beans.

Does the chipole peppers in the adobe sauce come in a can? I haven’t seen it, what isle do you think it would be in, in the grocery store?

I found them at Wal-Mart in the mexican food isle. I have seen them in some of the chain groceries as well. They come in a can , don’t remember the brand I used. You won’t need anywhere near the whole can unless you are cooking for a bunch, you can put whats left in refrigerator in a small jar or sealed plastic container and they last forever.

Thank You Horselover, I will look for these this weekend, going camping and these burgers would be great to try.
