Chocolate Ice Cream Pie
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Vanilla Wafers
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1 package (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup evaporated milk
Combine chocolate chips, milk, salt and marshmallows and cook over low heat.
Stir constantly until thick, about 20 minutes. Let cool. Line a 9-inch pie plate
with he vanilla wafers. Fill lined pie plate with 1/2 of ice cream, freeze, then
spread over half of the chocolate sauce. Freeze again, then add rest of the ice
cream, freeze, then spread over the rest of the chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with
nuts and freeze. Wrap in foil if the pie is to be kept awhile.
