Chocolate Macadamia Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
9 ounces bittersweet chocolate – cut into chunks
6 ounces peanut butter cup candy
1 cup unsalted – coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk dry ingredients together.
Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients in 3 additions, mixing just until blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix just until blended.
Drop by scant 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 11-13 minutes until light brown on edges. Transfer to racks and cool.
