Chocolate Snack Cake

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons Sweet’N Low® brown
¼ teaspoon baking soda
dash of salt
1 egg
½ cup Sweet’N Low® chocolate flavored syrup
½ cup light tub margarine, melted
½ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Sift flour, Sweet’N Low® brown, baking soda and salt together. In medium bowl, combine egg, Sweet’N Low® chocolate flavored syrup, margarine, and brown sugar, blending well. Stir in flour mixture; fold in nuts. Spread batter in baking pan and bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on cooling rack before cutting into squares.
Makes 16 servings.
