Cinnamon Coffee Cake

My mouth is watering from posting these recipes to share with you.

This is a delicious coffee cake to serve at a morning brunch or when you have guests over and want to have coffee and a treat. I like it because it is cinnamony.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake
Pat Carneal’s Recipe
Serves 14

1 box of Duncan Heinze Yellow Deluxe II Cake Mix
1 small package instant vanilla pudding mix
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup Wesson Oil
4 whole eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon butter flavoring

Mix the above well.

Combine in a separate bowl the following:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup pecans
5 Tablespoons cinnamon

Pour one half of the batter into a stem pan. Top with one half of the sugar mixture. Pour the rest of the batter into the pan and top with the rest of the sugar mixture.
Take a spoon and work the sugar mixture to create a marble effect.

Bake the cake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
5 Tablespoons of Pet Evaporated Milk
1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Mix and pour over the cake while it is warm.
