COOKING FOR A CROWD - CUCUMBER YOGURT DRESSING

2 cups salad dressing
12 ounces sour cream
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 cup frozen chives
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
24 ounces fresh cucumbers
3 1/2 cups plain yogurt

  1. Combine in mixer bowl.

  2. Peel and seed cucumbers. Chop finely. Add to sour cream mixture.

  3. Fold in. Chill.

Yield: 2 1/2 quarts

Notes: Potentially hazardous food. Store for service at an internal temperature below 41°F.
