Country Chicken and Biscuits
6 Cups cut-up cooked chicken
1-1/4 Cups each chopped onion and celery
1 Bag(1LB) frozen mixed vegetables
2 Cans(14 1/2 OZ each) chicken broth
1/3 Cup cornstarch
3/4 Cup cold water
3 1/3 Cups Bisquick
1 Cup milk
Dried parsley,if desired
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Heat chicken,onion,celery,mixed vegetables and broth to boiling in 5 QT pot.
Stir cornstarch into cold water until dissolved; stir into chicken mixture.
Heat to boiling,stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
Pour into ungreased rectangular pan,13x9x2.
Stir bisquick and milk until dough forms. Drop about 30 teaspoonfuls onto
chicken mixture. Sprinkle with parsley.
Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Makes 12 servings.
