Hello everyone,
I am looking for a recipe for the true country soup of the South. Everyone tells me that it is very good and made with Streak of Lean pretty salty and a lot of fat to but to eat it once in a while won’t kill me., say maybe once a year I am on a low fat, low cholesterol diet doing really good to as I cannot take any of the cholesterol medications to lower it.
I think there 2 cups of frozen or fresh butter beans, 2 cups frozen or fresh black eyed peas or a pea of your choice, some corn, tomatoes and some other ingredients can’t remember them all but it makes a lot of soup, but freezes well.
