Barbecued Stuffed Patties
1/2 cup saltines (crushed)
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons sliced green onion
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
8 dill pickle slices
In large bowl stir together crackers, barbecue sauce, onion and pepper. Add ground beef. Mix well. On wax paper shape into 8 thin patties about 3 1/2-inches in diameter.
Top four patties with pickle slices. Place remaining patties on top of pickle. Seal edges, completely enclosing pickle.
Grill directly over medium heat for 11 to 13 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.
