Cream of Broccoli Soup

2-16oz bags frozen broccoli
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans milk
1/2 stick butter or margarine

Place broccoli and onion in saucepan. Add enough water just to cover. Bring to a boil, turn down heat, cover and simmer 20-25 mins. (Do not drain) With a potato masher, mash broccoli in cooking water. Add soup, milk and butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Return to simmer and simmer until hot.
Enjoy!! I like to add a little more butter to bowl when serving and some fresh ground pepper.
