Creamed Ham with Cornbread Wedges
Fresh hot cornbread cut into wedges for serving
1 cup sliced mushrooms
3 Tbs butter
3 Tbs All Purpose Flour
1 cup each chicken broth and 1/2 and 1/2
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups diced ham
1 green pepper chopped
1 Tbs chopped pimento
Saute the mushrooms in the butter. Remove and set aside (keep warm) Blend the flour into the hot butter.
Gradually add the hot chicken broth and then add the 1/2 &1/2 , Season with
salt and pepper.
Cook for about 10 minutess till thickened .
Combine the ham, green pepper and pimento and add to the sauce.
Heat and serve on the cornbread.
