Crescent Chicken Casserole

1 lb. chicken, cooked and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
8 crescent rolls
3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of chicken soup

Mix chicken with 1/2 cup cheese. Put mixture in the center of each crescent roll triangle and roll up. Place in baking dish. Combine soup and milk. Pour over chicken rolls. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Top with rest of cheese and bake for 5 more minutes and rolls looked cooked.

Hope you all enjoy it. My family does. Thanks!

Oh we did like it, I baked it a few minutes longer, got that crispy cheese on the edges. OMGsh it was good, I threw in some mushrooms, peas and carrots too.

thank you!

I made this for dinner last night and it was really good. My husband and son enjoyed it too.

How many does this recipe feed comfortably? Looks like 4 to me, but does anyone know?

This recipe sounds wonderful. I think I’ll try it later in the week. Thank you for posting it.

I added a cup of mixed veggies to the mixture. Was wonderful.

This sounds perfect. Looking for some new & easy summer suppers. This one will be on for tomorrow. Norma

This not only sounds simple but very tasty and a good way to use leftovers.

I’ll be trying this one tomorrow night, with a can of button mushrooms and a cup or two of frozen mixed vegetables. Thanks for the idea.

i want the recipe. please post. thank you.

Another way to “tweak” this recipe is to add some craisins, slivered almonds and use provolone or swiss instead of cheddar.

That craisin, swiss and almonds was in a turkey ring Pampered Chef recipe and is sooooo good.

:D:cool:

Where can I get cresant rolls, or what is a similar item I can use to try this please.

Are the like the sweet pastried crosants. I am in Melbourne Australia

Crescent rolls are flaky dinner rolls that come refrigerated in a tube. You open the tube and will see rolled up dough. You unroll it and you will see perforations forming triangles. You separate them and roll up and shape like a crescent and bake them. Sort of like a poor man’s croissant.

This sounds so good…I like the “tweak” of adding mushrooms and peas. Now my suggestion is to add (in addition of the shrooms, peas) some cashews! Yum!
