1 (16oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. cake mix for one-layer cake
1 egg
3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Butter crockpot and add the pie filling. Cook on high for 30-40 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon onto hot pie filling. Cover and cook on low for 2 - 3 hours. Makes about 6 servings.
I could have eaten the whole thing!! Added some raw sugar to the topping while it was cooking and a BIG scoop of vanillabean ice cream on top! I shared and they loved it…will most definately try this again and again and again! with blueberry, rasberry and strawberries–yummm
