DEPRESSION ERA DANDELOIN WINE

Put 1 gallon flower heads into crock or enamel vessel. Pour over 3 qts. boiling water. After 7 days strain and wring out, then return to crock. Boil 1 1/2 lbs. sugar in 1 pt. water; cool and add to liquor. Add 1 oz. yeast and the juice of 2 lemons; cover and ferment 7 days. Pour into gal. jar leaving sediment off. Boil 1 1/2 lbs. sugar in 1 pt. water, cool and add to liquid. Cover and let it set until all fermenting has ceased. Bottle immediately.
