Dipping Sauces for Chicken - Moroccan Style

This sauce is modeled after charmoula sauce…this recipe makes about a half cup and can be used for 4 breasts of chicken or 6 thighs. It may be used just before grilling or as a dipping sauce during the meal

2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 medium garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
pinch of cayenne pepper ( more to taste)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro

Whisk lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne, and salt together in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in the oil, stir in the cilantro. Serve as a dipping sauce or drizzle over grilled chicken or baste before grilling
