Help please: I am looking for the original Kentucky Fried Chicken
I don’t have an original recipe for it , but I had a newsletter years ago and they used a package of Italian dressing mix, the dry one you mix with oil and vinegar. Just use the dry mix added in the flour to coat your chicken. Also KFC pressure cooks their chicken first and then fries it. This I know because my brother worked there.
Thank you VERY MUCH! I had heard that GOOD SEASONS is used
and also that the chicken was put in a pressure cooker. I just
wasn’t sure how to go about it.
Thank you again,
Dear Guest or Anyone,
Is the chicken coated with flour and salad dressing before
pressure cooking or before frying?
No you coat the chicken in the flour and seasoning mix after you pressure cook it. Mix the flour and seasoning mix together then dip your chicken in it. I would let it air dry for about 30 min before I fried it to let the coating set up so it doesnt all come off while cooking.
