I got this from a Secret Chef web site of clone recipes. I have made it and it really is as good as bisquick.
4 1/2 Cups All purpose flour
5 teas. baking powder
1 teas. Salt
5 Tbl. Solid Shortening
3Tbl. Unsalted butter
In a large mixing bowl wisk together all the dry ingredients.
With an electric mixer, slowly & gradually cut in shortening and butter until mixture is uniform in texture. It should resemble coarse bread crumbs.
Stor in air tight container. Keeps for 1-2 months stored in a cool dry place, longer in the freezer.
Makes just over 1 quart.
