1 lb ground beef
3 large onions - sliced
1 large green pepper - chopped
1 large tomato - chopped
1/2 cup uncooked rice
2 tsp salt
2 tsp chili power
pinch or two of pepper
1 16 oz can tomatos [/u][/ul]
In large skillet stir fry meat, onion, green pepper, chopped tomato,
until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
Remove from stove, drain fat from skillet.
Return skillet to stove and then stir in canned tomatos, rice, chili powder, salt & pepper.
Finally, pour the entire works into ungreased 2 quart casserole dish.
Cover and bake in oven at 350 for 1 hour.
Mmmmmmmm…a meal on it’s own and so easy to throw together.
My mouth is so watering right now just thinking about it I’m gonna
make some immediately the moment I sign off here.
TIP: Iced tea, coffee, or your favorite soda are greatly improved when the
ice cubes are made of the same beverage. Don’t you just hate that
watered down taste of your favorite drink when the ice cubes melt?
