Easy Chili Quickie

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 tbsp (or more) chili powder
1 (15.5 oz) can hot chili beans in chili gravy
1 (26 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup salsa (mild to hot to suit your taste)
6 oz shredded cheddar cheese

From choppin’ onion to lickin’ chops in less than 40 minutes (which is purdy dang quick for chili this good). And if you don’t tell ‘em, they won’t know.

In a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is brown; stirring a bit to break up the beef. Completely drain the grease.

Put everything except the cheese in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat; stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes

Serve topped with cheese.
