EASY CHOCOLATE BOSTON CREAM CAKE & EASY CHOCOLATE GLAZE
1 yellow cake mix (one layer size)
1 pkg. (4-serving size) instant pudding & pie filling - vanilla flavored
1 c. cold milk
1/4 c. confectioners’ sugar
2 T. cocoa
Easy Chocolate Glaze
Prepare batter as directed on box, using an 8-inch round baking pan; remove from pan and cool as directed.
Beat pudding mix, cold milk, confectioners’ sugar and cocoa until blended and thickened; cut cake in half horizontally; spread mixture between layers.
Cover and refrigerate; spread Glaze over top and around sides of cake. Cover and refrigerate.
EASY CHOCOLATE GLAZE
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. confectioners’ sugar
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1/4 c. hot water
Blend butter and cocoa together; stir in confectioners’ sugar and vanilla. Stir in water, a tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached; beat until smooth. Use immediately.
