quick and easy chili recipe, your family/friends will think you spent all day on this!
1/2 lb or so of ground beef, chicken, or turkey (ps-i always try to buy organic and free range. use ground fake meat if you’re vegetarian)
1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 15 oz can black beans
1 15 oz can kidney beans
1 15 oz can great northern beans
1-2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoons cumin
1 16 oz or so jar of your choice of salsa
1 bell pepper if desired, chopped
sour cream to garnish
grated cheddar to garnish
in a large stock pot, cook the ground meat until fully cooked on high. then add the tomatoes, salsa, all the beans, jalapenos, bell pepper, spices. add more spices if you want. bring to a boil and simmer on low for about 1 hr. serve w/ grated cheese and sour cream.
