Easy Skillet Custards

2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups milk
Nutmeg

Mix all ingredients except nutmeg. Pour into custard cups that have been sprayed with PAM. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Place cups in a deep skillet. Pour hot tap water in around the cups as high as possible without water getting in when it boils. Bring water to a full boil. Turn off heat. Cover skillet and let stand 10 minutes, or until knife inserted into the custard comes out clean. Remove cups from the water and serve warm or chilled.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. If you like it a little sweeter, just add a little more sugar next time. I like to double this recipe. I use a big heavy skillet.
