3/4 pound ground beef
1/2 cup water
1-1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups salsa, divided
5 flour tortillas (8 inches), cut into strips, divided
1 can corn (15-1/4 oz)
2 cups cheddar
Sour cream for topping
Brown beef, add water, chili powder, pepper, salt and garlic powder. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Place 1 cup salsa in bottom of 8 inch square baking dish. Layer with half the tortillas, all the meat, all the corn and the other half of tortillas. Top with second cup of salsa, cover and bake for 35 minutes. Uncover, top with cheese and bake for 5 -10 minutes more. Top with sour cream and serve.
