FESTIVE FRUIT DRINKS
Juice has all the color, sweetness, fresh taste and the ability to blend well with other flavors. Kids love it straight or mixed with seltzer or soda water. Adults love juice straight or mixed with almost anything but rubbing alcohol. A touch of rum, bourbon, vodka, or gin can perk up a glass right nicely.
If you have a juicer, go to town. But canned and bottled juice and concentrates will serve you well, especially if you are entertaining a crowd.
Below are some winning combinations; serve them with plenty of ice and decorate them, if you would like, with slices of lemon, orange or limes; frozen strawberries or raspberries; or maraschino cherries. For glassware, you can go plain with a set of canning jars or plastic cups, or fancy with champagne flutes. Add some jazzy swizel sticks or jazzy straws for fun.
