FETTUCCINE WITH BROCCOLI CARBONARA
4 slices lean bacon (about 1/4 lb.), chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 14 1/2-ounce jar RagÃº Alfredo Classic Pasta Sauce
1 12-ounce package fettuccine, uncooked
3 cups fresh broccoli florets
Grated Parmesan cheese
In a saucepan, cook bacon until crisp; discard bacon drippings. Add onion and garlic; cook over medium heat 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in Alfredo sauce; cook gently over low heat 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; during last 3 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to pasta cooking water. Drain pasta and broccoli well; toss with hot sauce. Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
