First Lady Strawberry Icebox Pie
This is a recipe for Strawberry Icebox Pie

article in 1964.
Strawberry Icebox Pie
16 oz of marshmallows
2 Tablespoons of reserved strawberry juice
16 oz of frozen strawberries, thawed or 2 cups fresh strawberries, sweetened to taste
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 baked 9-inch, single crust, pastry pie shell
Put marshmallows in a double boiler. Add 2 Tablespoons of strawberry juice. Cook until marshmallows are dissolved. Remove from heat.
Mix strawberries and marshmallows thoroughly. Chill about two hours.
Fold whipped cream into marshmallow mixture and pour into a baked pastry pie shell.
Chill until firm.
