Fisherman's Stew

FISHERMAN’S STEW

8 slices salt pork
4 c. sliced, pared potatoes
2 medium onions, peeled and sliced
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 lbs. frozen cod fillets, thawed and cut into pieces

Layer salt pork, potatoes and onions in crockpot; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add 1 c. water.
Cover and cook on HIGH 2 hours.
Add fish and remaining water; mix gently.
Cover and cook on HIGH 30 minutes.
