What kind of food items do you think go over the best at Craft Fairs?
Don’t know what area of the country you live in but in the south, sourdough bread, relishes, pies, fried ones especially, the little ones that people can eat right then and brittles. A guy at work, his church sold peanut brittle at one locally and sold over 100 lbs. and took orders for more. It was around Christmas time and they packed them in Christmas tins, also in small packs to eat as you walk.
Thanks for the responses.
I thought I would try kuchen, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin bread, cranberry bread.
The craft fair went pretty well. The crowd was fair in amount; it was a blustery day and that might have kept some of the crowd home.
The frosted pumpkin shaped cookies, blueberry muffin tops, sour cream coffee cake, and plain egg noodles went over very well. Cheesecake by the slice went over fairly well.
Pumpkin pie as well as carrot and beet noodles didn’t go over very well.
All in all, it was a fun day.
