Fresh Strawberry Sherbet [juice extractor]

Servings: 6

2 cups [500 mL] rinsed hulled fresh strawberries
1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
2 egg whites, at room temperature



Process strawberries in juice extractor.
Combine strawberry juice and sugar.
Pour into an ice tray; freeze until lightly frozen.
Into a bold, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Fold partially frozne mixture into beaten egg whites.
Evenly spoon into ice tray.
Freeze until set, for approximately 2 hours.
Keep and serve frozen.
