Fried Chicken

I have a recipe for fried chicken that I really love. My problem is because of the spices in the coating the chicken gets too dark for my taste before it is thoroughly cooked.

My question is : Can I bake the chicken pieces until done and then dip in the seasoned egg and seasoned flour and deep fry just to to a golden brown?

The recipe includes mixing the following spices and dividing them among the chicken, beaten eggs and the flour. After marinating the chicken in the spices it is dipped in the spiced eggs and then the spiced flour.
Salt
Fresh black pepper
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp celery salt
2 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp dry mustard
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp granulated garlic
1 tbsp ground sage
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

I use a deep fryer and set it for fried chicken. I fry in soy bean or palm oil, which is common here. I think the problem is there are a lot of spices in the egg and the flour and they are getting too dark. I was hoping to bake it first to get it done then dipping it in egg and flour and frying to cook the coating and have nice golden brown chicken. Would this be a problem that I am not aware of?

I decided to try baking the chicken before egg and flouring it and then deep frying it. I am very happy with the results. I know it is time consuming, but, at least, I got the kind of fried chicken I want.

We usually do not use Oven for cooking in our country thus Baking is expensive here . Can I lighty boil the Chicken pieces before coating and frying ?

Should I put some spices in the water while boiling ? Which Spices ?
Or should I marinade the lightly boiled chicken pieces first then Fry ?

Advise please .
Thanks
Susmita
