Frito Plates

1 Lb Ground Beef
1 Lb Bag Fritos Corn Chips
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Head Lettuce (shredded)
1 Tomato (diced)
1 Small Onion (diced)
1 Cup Salsa
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Reduce heat on skillet, and add 1/2 of the diced onion, salsa and garlic powder; simmer for 10 minutes. While the beef mixture is cooking, crush the Frito chips and distribute evenly over 4 plates. When the beef mixture is finished, spoon an equal amount over the center of each plate, on top of the corn chips. Sprinkle the remaining onion, lettuce and tomato on top of the meat mixture. Top with cheddar cheese and serve. Can be served with a spoonful of sour cream or guacamole and additional salsa to taste.
