good ol' George

Since there is a turkey breast in the oven for tonight’s dinner (with sweet potatoes, peas, green salad, bread stuffing and gravy) -

it’s a PIZZA PANINI FINGERS for lunch -

split French bread with a light drizzle of Italian salad dressing, filled with layers of sandwich pepperoni, sliced mozzarella cheese, soppressata, sliced mushrooms, anchovies and topped with another layer of sliced mozzarella and a sprinkle of fresh grated Pecorino Romano; top with top crust - grilled in George Forman until heated through and crusty.

Sliced with a serrated knife on the diagonal into “fingers” and served with a quickie pizza dipping sauce -
tomato paste, water, dried oregano, dried basil, dried marjoram, salt, pepper, garlic and a pinch of sugar; heated through and simmered 15 minutes. Serve hot with fingers!
