Gooey Swiss Bread

1 loaf of French or Italian Bread
1/2 pound of swiss cheese, grated or any other cheese you wish to use
Pepper Jack would be a good one

1/4 cup of 1/2 and 1/2
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Slice the bread in 1/2 lengthwise and remove the top. Mix all of the
ingredients and mix well. Spread the cheese mixture over the top of the
bottom piece of bread. Cover with the top piece of bread. Cut into serving
size pieces and place on foil. Cover the cut slices completely with the foil
and bake in a 350 oven for 20 minutes or until melted.

Some suggestions. Do not slice the bread after stuffing and do not cut all
the way through. Proceed as directed for baking. Slice after the bread has
baked and by not cutting all the way through the bread, the cheese will not
run out of the bread but will remain inside.
