Gourmet’s Choice Pizza
Herb Pizza Dough -- prepared as directed (see variations) 2/3 cup tomato sauce -- (see recipe)
2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups marinated artichoke hearts – drained and quartered
3/4 cup chopped roasted red peppers – drained
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2/3 cup chopped olives – drained
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon minced garlic (1 to 2 teaspoons)
2 green onions – thinly sliced
Divide dough in half. On lightly floured surface, roll to fit 2 greased 12-inch pizza pans. Evenly spread Quick Tomato Sauce on pizzas (1/3 cup on each). Reserve 1/4 cup cheese; sprinkle remaining cheese on pizzas.
Starting at outside rim, arrange one-half of following ingredients, in order, in concentric circles on each pizza: artichokes, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. Combine olives, walnuts and garlic; spread in center of pizzas, dividing evenly. Sprinkle entire surface of pizzas with remaining cheese and green onions.
Bake at 400ÂºF for 20 minutes or until done.
