Graham Snappies

Graham Snappies

1/2 pound butter (no substitute)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Graham crackers to cover bottom of your pan

Spray bottom of jelly-roll pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place graham
crackers side by side to cover bottom of pan. Boil butter and sugar for 2
minutes. Add pecans and pour over top of crackers.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until top is bubbling hard. Remove
from oven and run a knife between crackers and around edges before it cools.
Remove from pan and enjoy.

Oh, yum! Please, can I have a taste now??? The only thing missing is a drizzle of melted chocolate…bu who cares!

We have a recipe that my daughter often prepares that is the same except it calls for saltine crackers instead of graham crackers. Also she melts semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzles on top.

She often takes it to get-togethers and pitch-in dinners, and always gets requests for the recipe. I will share this with her, and we will try with graham crackers.
