Ground Beef Sour Cream Noodle Casserole
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. noodles
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 cup creamed cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
green onions, to taste
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Cook noodles and drain. Brown beef in butter if using extra lean. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer till heated through, about 4 or 5 minutes. Combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles. Use a 2 quart casserole and layer noodles and meat, ending with meat on top. Add cheese over all. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese has melted.
