Yes, the avocados are loaded with fat, but it’s mostly the heart-healthy monounsaturated kind. Enjoy them in this cool, classic dip. Add more jalapenos if you’re the heat-loving type. This guacamole is full of chunks and color, like the traditional version.

Ingredients:

ripe medium avocado, peeled, pitted, and cut into chunks - 1
fat-free sour cream - 1/4 cup
small plum tomato, diced - 2
diced seedless cucumber - 1/4 cup
medium red onion, finely chopped - 1/4
chopped cilantro - 2 tbsp
freshly squeezed lime juice - 2 tbsp
small jalapeno pepper, seeds removed, finely chopped - 2
seasoned salt - 1/4 tsp

  1. In a medium bowl with a fork, mash the avocado with the sour cream (there should be small chunks remaining).

  2. Add the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, cilantro, lime juice, jalapenos, and salt; stir lightly until well blended.
