The name “guacamole” in the original language means “avocado sauce.” Most people prepare the salad with the original ingredients, namely, avocado, tomatoes and salt. Some add lemon juice, both for flavor and to prevent the blackening of the avocado.

3 tablespoons lemon juice
A handful of chopped coriander
Diced tomatoes
Salt
Pepper
