H. J.’s Snicker Doodle Cookie verison
2 sticks of butter (softened)
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup light brown sugar . . . pack firmly
2 Eggs large or 3 small
1 + tsp. vanilla …I like vanilla so more
2 cups All Purpose Flour (sifted)
1 tsp. Baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1½ cups oatmeal
1 pkg. (13 oz.) Snickers miniatures ¦.cut up really small
Combine: butter, eggs, sugars w/ mixer on low speed. . . . .
mix until fluffy add vanilla . . …
Add mix flour, salt, baking soda… . .
Add: Cut up pieces of candy and oatmeal and mix by hand.
Use approximately 1 Tablespoon of dough per cookie
Place on a greased sheet and
Bake at 300 degrees F. for 10-12 min to bake n melt the
candy… . . cool on wax paper.
Sprinkle again generously cinnamon over the top
Cookies will spread out on the sheet . . . take cookies out of pan placing on wax paper they firm up after cooling. Done when lightly brown on the bottom
Optional: add tiny pieces of toffee Or add raisins
These are so delicious. Can freeze if they last long enough to freeze H.J.
