Ham and Swiss Quiche.

1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
1 (12 fl oz) can evaporated milk
3 large eggs
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup cooked diced ham
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Prick thawed (if frozen) pie shell generously with a fork.

  3. In a large bowl whisk together evaporated milk, eggs and flour
    until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, ham, onion, thyme salt
    and pepper. Pour mixture into pie shell; sprinkle with remaining

  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center
    comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 5 to 7 minutes before serving.

  5. Refrigerate any leftovers.
