Heloise’s Jamaican Barbecue Sauce
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
4 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Flavor Enhancer (like Ac’cent)
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup tomato puree
Mix above ingredients well and
store in a quart jar. This recipe will
make about 1 3/4 pints and will last
several weeks in the refrigerator.
